Here is a short focus exercise to hone the awareness ‘muscle’, to be in the moment and consciously aware, allowing you, with practice, to attain mental clarity and make better decisions, with ease. Present awareness automatically makes you more grounded and emotionally calm.
The different focus points in this exercise can also be practiced at any time and for longer lengths of time. If the mind drifts, gently come back to one of the focus points, such as the breath, and begin again. Enjoy.
