skin & hair serum
HOW TO MAKE:
HERBAL INFUSED CASTOR OIL
1/2 cup castor oil
1 tbsp. lavender buds, fresh or dried
1 tbsp. rosemary leaf, fresh or dried
1/2 tbsp. horsetail herb or lemongrass
1/4 cup herbal infused castor oil (above recipe)
1 tbsp grapeseed, avocado, apricot or evening primrose oil
1 tbsp coconut oil
5 drops essential oils bergamot and lavender
6 drops rosemary
In a glass bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, or a slow cooker, combine castor oil, lavender buds, rosemary, and horsetail. Let herbs steep for 1-6 hours.
Strain herbs from the oil.
Combine: 1/4 cup of herbal infused castor oil with other ingredients (see serum ingredients above).
A multi purpose serum to use sparingly on the skin, hair, eyelashes and eyebrows. This serum has the benefits of castor oil and the strengthening effects of the silica from the horsetail grass. It has a pleasant uplifting scent and a little bit goes a long way.
